Established in 1985The English Ministry of Hallelujah Church was started in 1985 with the vision of ministering to English-speaking internationals coming to Seoul for the '88 Olympics. Hallelujah Church was planted in 1980 in Seoul by a visionary group of families who dreamt of a church that reached across the denominations and the nations for the gospel mission. The senior pastors of Hallelujah Church have come from the Korean diaspora (USA).

Our MissionWe exist to glorify God by exalting Jesus Christ, which we believe will happen when we serve the expatriate and English-speaking community in the Seongnam-Seoul metro area through the authentic worship of the Redeemer God and the building up of Christ’s disciples for the church’s mission.

Pastor Aaron Colquhoun Greetings! I’m Pastor Aaron from Australia and serve as Assistant Pastor at HEM! My wife and I have been living in Korea for 7 years and have been at HEM for 3 of those. It’s been a joy so far serving the community of HEM, and growing together spiritually and personally. We look forward to getting the opportunity to meet you too and welcome you to the HEM family.
